Weddings + Love Stories
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true. Nothing that I wouldn’t do. Go to the ends of the earth for you, to make you feel my love.
You found your soulmate and you’re getting married
That’s pretty freakin’ sweet if you ask me.
but Let me be real for a second -
wedding photography is a BIG-MF-DEAL
These are the photos you’ll gush over with your Mom over a glass of wine in a few years looking back on how beautiful the day was. The photos you can bust out when things get rough with your honey to remember how far you’ve come together. They’re the photos your children will gather around to look at, sprawled out on the living room floor on Sunday afternoon, and displayed in a silver frame on your great-granddaughter's bookshelf, decades from now.
After all the food is eaten and the last dance has been danced, your photos are the only tangible thing that you'll walk away from your wedding day. As memories fade (and they will!), your photographs will keep them vivid and alive.
All of this is in the back of my mind at every single wedding I photograph. It’s why I do what I do. It doesn’t matter to me whether you want to get married at a restaurant with your closest friends, in your aunt’s backyard with your big Italian family, at a music festival around a campfire, or wearing potato sacks at the make-shift alter in the basement of a divebar eating pizza (hey, why not?). I care about you, I care about your story, and I care about capturing it authentically.
