Salem Harbor Wedding // Colby + Mike // Marblehead, MA
Colby & Mike went the non-traditional route for their wedding and decided to elope in the Italian countryside in Tuscany at Castello Di Spaltenna. Once they got back to the States they invited friends and family to a small intimate celebration bringing a new meaning to venue on the water, hosting everyone on a sunset cruise around Salem Harbor. We set aside some time before the party to take photos of them and their friends and family. We started off at a close family friends house When I showed up my jaw literally dropped to the floor from how freaking gorgeous the view was - I immediately asked the hosts to adopt me. Colby’s dress was simple and elegant and after a few minutes for final details and a makeshift bouquet thanks to Colby’s aunt, we were ready for some formal photos succeeded by stuffing our faces with Kelly’s roast beef sandwiches and some good ole' New England lobster rolls - they had delicious looking veggies and fruit too but like, I only have so much room in my stomach so, priorities. After eating, drinking, goofing around and dancing in the ‘good light’, we headed out to the closest dock to take a launch boat across the harbor and continue to the pregame. A bottle of champagne and a case of Notch Pilsners later, we showed up to our final destination, the Hannah Glover, with the party waiting there to greet us. Then it was party time! Congrats Colby & Mike!
