Winter Engagement Session // Jessie + Shalin

Jessie & Shalin are planning an adventure wedding in Banff National Park but wanted to take engagement photos in their home city of Boston! The Commons and the Harborwalk are two of the best spots for engagement photos in Boston each with a different iconic view of the city. I met up with Jessie & Shalin in their badass all black attire to start our shoot in front of Jessie’s favorite view of Boston in the Seaport Harborwalk. It was a super cloudy day around the city and a bit chilly so we popped some celebratory champagne to warm us up. As we walked towards Fort Point to grab a cab to our next location, we *had* to stop at the buoy wall at The Barking Crab, and grabbed beers at their favorite bar across the street at the Outlook. I love taking some time in the middle of a shoot to relax and hear fun stories about my couples! After swinging by their apartment to pick up their dog and 3rd family member, King Lucas, we walked over to our last location The Commons, still glowing with Christmas lights over the classic Boston row houses in Beacon Hill.
