La Brasa Somerville Styled Bridal Shoot
Inspiration for an Intimate Boston Elopement or Small Wedding
You guys, I love a good intimate wedding. I mean, who doesn’t. It’s all about the little things and spending time with friends and family.
If you haven’t been to La Brasa in Somerville, you are missing out, my friend. Restaurants, in my opinion, are the hidden gems of wedding venues. I mean, you are starting off with awesome decor, service, food, rentals…. that’s a pretty good start for wedding planning! Last Saturday, I met up with Katie, Jo, and Carla for a fun styled bridal shoot inspired by a non-traditional Boston bride - a little boho, a little rockn’roll, and a lover of brunch, hats, colorful flowers and fun jewelry.
Wedding don’t have to be extravagant affairs - they can be simple, laid back brunches at your favorite restaurant in a comfy, flowy lace dress and your favorite accessories. Your wedding day can be all about you and your loved ones celebrating over good food. Besides the dresses that cost less than $100 each, everything used for outfits was taken straight out of Katie’s closet! Joanna brought the fire with a bouquet that was gorgeous beyond words with the coolest unique flowers. She creates these single bouquets for a freaking STEAL and had some flowers left over for a few cute centerpieces. And of course, thank you to La Brasa’s GM Katelyn for getting up early to let us into the space. This wasn’t part of the plan, but we ended up using La Brasa’s bunch menus for the table and like, is that not the best idea? If you’re ready for a quick morning elopement followed by a wedding brunch - let a girl know, because that would be amazing. Wedding brunches are in now, spread the word.
